The perfect cleanser for melting away makeup and sunscreen as part of your double cleanse. It's a great anytime cleanser for normal to dry, dehydrated skin without disrupting your skin’s protective lipid barrier. Leaves skin clean, fresh and moist.

  • Who needs it:

    This cleansing emulsion works great as your first cleanse in a double cleansing routine.  Meticulously emulsifies and removes makeup and sunscreen buildup.  If you have combination to oily skin follow up with a detergent free gel cleanser as your 2nd cleanse. If you have dry skin you can reapply Melt or another cleansing milk. As your regular (one process) cleanser Melt was created for for dry and dehydrated skin types.  

  • Why you need it:

    Many dehydrated skin types become that way because of a comprimised lipid barrier.  When intact this lipid barrier captures moisture and holds it in your skin.  Lacking in your own lipid barrier,  water evaporates quickly out of the skin leaving it vulnerable to dehydration but also irritation from triggers in the environment.  Melt emusifies dirt and oil for easy removal but keeps the lipid barrier in tact.

    Another important reason to choose Melt as part of a double cleansing routine is the fact that makeup formulations today are created for long wear.  This being the case, it is much more difficult to remove your makeup (or sunscreen) at night. A double cleansing routine is a great solution to this problem.  Remember, better cleansing at night means better penetration of those important actives in your serums or night cream.

  • What's inside:

    Organic Aloe Extract:  contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin.

  • How to use:

    For makeup removal start with taking off your eye makeup.  Use dry in circular motions going around and over your eyelids and brows. Wet fingertips with warm water and repeat.  Use a cotton pad or soft tissue to remove.  Proceed to the rest of your face, first dry for 20 seconds then with wet fingertips. Rinse with warm water. If your skin is not too sensitive use a warm, wet wash cloth to complete the cleansing.
