Niacinamide significantly reduces acne-related pigmentation. It helps protect the skin's barrier from dehydration and from irritation.   • How to use:

    First Light Lotion can be used day or night, following First Light Therapy as part of a program to reduce hyper-pigmentation. For dry skin it should be used as a serum: Two pumps morning and night. More oily skins can use this as a moisturizer, alone or under sunscreen. Rosacea prone skin can use this to gently hydrate as it calms redness.

    Niacinamide - Vitamin B3, a water-soluble vitamin that works to visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, helps correct uneven skin tone, reduces dullness, and helps minimize blemishes and acne-related pigmentation.

    Red Algae Extract - contains high quantities of polysaccharides to create a hydrating moisture barrier, peptides to inspire new collagen production, carotenoids to help reorganize skin cell layers for smoother well functioning skin.
    Ergothionine - a powerful amino acid which energizes cell metabolism as it detoxifies the skin. Transforms dull, uneven and pigmented skin into a supple, visibly brighter complexion. 
    Licorice Root Extract - used in skincare for its soothing, moisturizing, antimicrobial, brightening, and skin tone evening properties.
