Consistency seems to be the best suggestion for skincare, health and longevity. Following a good skin routine twice a day, trying to eat as healthy as possible and of course exercise. All sounds wonderful to say but now I have to push myself to do some of it. I am good with skincare, sometimes eating in not as great as it should be and finally getting myself outside to walk at least a mile a day. When all is followed, it does make a difference in how I feel and look. So this would improve longevity and it is my goal to complete daily. Hope someone has some motivating suggestions. My best wishes to any of my past clients and coworkers. I miss everyone. Edi

Thank you Edi, and so true. Skincare, like diet and exercise has to be done every day to see results. It's not a once in a while sort of thing. For me as well, skincare seems to be the easy part. Maybe that's because we are both estheticians. I struggle a little more on the diet and exercise part. But, I really enjoy the ritual of going through my skincare routine. It gives me great satisfaction and it's really not all that hard to do. One has to decide how much is the right amount of time or commitment that is right for you. The minimalist may only cleanse, tone and moisturize. That is not a bad thing if you remain consistent. The real skincare aficionado might also include masques, serums, peels, scrubs, eye care and so on. I liken that to a marathon runner. One is not right or wrong, but you do get results consistent with the routine you've invested in.
