To get desired results it is important that you comply with the following protocol set up for Cell Youth Actif.
First Course: (this first container will last you for about a month)
The formulators recommend that you apply 6 pumps, twice a day:
- Two pumps to the lower part of the face (mouth, chin and neck area)
- Two pumps to the upper part of the face (cheeks, nose and forehead).
- Two pumps concentrated around the eye and mouth areas.
For the first course discontinue use of all other serums.
- Start by cleansing your face with an appropriate cleanser for your skin type. It is important to choose a non-foaming cleanser that will not over dry your skin.
- It is essential, to ensure penetration of this product that you maximize your regular exfoliation. We recommend using a granular scrub 1-6 times a week depending on your skin type, to which you’ve added Boost (a gentle Lactic Acid based serum that increases the exfoliating effects of your granular scrub). However, if you have ultra thin or sensitive skin try using a non-granular enzyme exfoliant. See Exfoliants>>
- Rinse well and apply your favorite hydrating toner from Elizabeth Renee Esthetics. First wipe with a saturated cotton pad then follow up with a light spritz to the face. This will help clear a pathway for better penetration of the Cell Youth Actif.
- Apply Cell Youth Actif as recommended above.
- Apply an eye crème and finish with a moisturizer, sunscreen or night crème.
Second Course: (this container will last about a month and a half)
Follow the same protocol except use only four pumps, twice a day. Two on the lower half of the face (including the mouth area) and to on the upper half of the face (including the eye area).
Third Course: (this container will last you two months)
Follow the same protocol except use only three pumps, twice a day.
Maintenance Course: (this container will last you about three months)
For the maintenance dose, what we have found to be the most effective to date is to continue with three to four pumps Cell Youth Actif at night only. Four pumps is optimal if you have drier skin or are living in a cold or arid climate. it is recommended that This is as you complement this treatment with an antioxidant serum in the morning and continue with extra exfoliation at night. Some may choose to continue with tree pumps Cell Youth Actif both morning and night and forgo the use of other serums.
When its time to introduce other serums to your program:
- Start using an antioxidant serum in the morning (such as C&E Antioxidant Serum or Sheer Berry Antioxidant Serum).
- Add a Retinol or Glycolic Serum every other night to further enhance exfoliation. (This should be done before applying Cell Youth Actif.)
- In a dry or cold climate you may wish to also include a hydrating serum (Hydraessence) or a protective serum (Environmental Protection).
